Exploring Shoreditch

Until yesterday, if you were to ask me where my favourite spots in London are, I'd have probably said Hyde Park, down by the Thames and anywhere where there is a Franco Manca but after exploring Shoreditch I definitely have another favourite on my list. Perhaps it was the quirky people and crayon coloured walls, the cocktail bars on every corner or the fact they sell pizza bigger than my face. This scene is one I am so glad I stumbled upon and I can't wait to go back. For now though, to ease myself back into blogging I thought I'd whip up a colourful introduction to Shoreditch.

Stumbling upon Shoreditch's cobbled lanes seemed a little like a blogger's paradise. Box Park, Shoreditch is the epitome of everything quirky and colourful, it's almost refreshing to see so much freedom on brick walls. With the location being in the complete heart of Hackney (so much so it is a ten minute walk from accommodation) the exterior looking like an Instagram dream and the best breakfast in Spitalfields market, I couldn't be happier to have finally visited this gem.

Living in London for the past five-six months I thought we were spoilt for choice for pretty much everything and we definitely are but the selection surrounding Box Park and Spitalfields market is undeniably a location with some real gems. It's a total bubble of street food and independent fashion and one of the first places where I've ate a single slice of pizza larger than my head.

Home to the best dressed and margarita on tap, Shoreditch is the heart of street. Fusing original concepts and planting individualistic business', you'd be hard pressed to not leave without wanting to come running back.

  1. I do not spend enough time in Shoreditch when I am in London, such an achingly cool place. Fantastic photos, thank you for sharing x
